Risk Disclaimer
1. Stravex is not investment advice
Stravex is an analytical software platform operated by DYNC Solutions LLC. It provides tools, visualizations, proprietary scoring and market analysis. We are NOT:
- A registered broker-dealer.
- An Investment Adviser (IA / RIA) registered with the SEC, FINRA or any equivalent body.
- A custodian of funds.
- An order execution venue.
- A provider of personalized buy or sell recommendations.
Every trading decision is the sole responsibility of the User. Stravex provides information — the user decides.
2. Risks of options trading
2.1 Total loss
Options can expire worthless. Buying options can result in the loss of 100% of the premium paid. Selling naked options can produce unlimited losses (calls) or losses limited to the strike less the premium (puts).
2.2 Leverage
Options are leveraged instruments. A small move in the underlying can produce a large move in the option — in your favour and against you. Leverage amplifies losses.
2.3 Implied volatility
Changes in IV (post-earnings volatility crush, expansions) can move the price of an option independently of any move in the underlying. Apparently neutral strategies such as calendars and condors can lose money purely from shifts in the volatility curve.
2.4 Liquidity
Strikes far from the money, or remote expirations, can carry wide bid-ask spreads. Closing positions at unfavourable prices is common in illiquid markets. Stravex flags tickers and strikes with low liquidity, but assessing liquidity at the moment of execution is the User's responsibility.
2.5 Early assignment
American-style calls can be assigned before expiration, particularly around dividends. Short positions can be assigned unexpectedly. Knowing the OCC rules on assignment is the User's responsibility.
3. Past performance does not predict future results
Historical metrics shown in Stravex — IV Rank, paper trading P&L, historical win rates for strategies, Strategy Builder backtests — are retrospective analysis. Past results do NOT guarantee future results. Market conditions change: what worked in a low-volatility regime can fail in a high volatility one.
4. Hypothetical and forward-tested performance
Any performance metric, track record, backtest or simulated result presented on the Platform is subject to the following notice:
STRAVEX verdict track-record entries are forward-tested: each verdict is timestamped at computation and never retroactively modified. Results nonetheless do not reflect actual trades and do not account for commissions, slippage, execution delay, liquidity constraints, or position sizing. Not every verdict is tradeable.
Your actual results may differ materially from any performance shown on the Platform, among other reasons because:
- Commissions, exchange fees, and regulatory fees are not reflected.
- Slippage and bid-ask spreads reduce realized returns.
- There is execution delay between the moment a verdict is computed and the moment an order could actually be placed and filled.
- Liquidity constraints — displayed prices may not be available in tradeable size at the time of execution.
- Position sizing, margin requirements, and capital constraints differ for every account.
- Taxes are not considered.
- Emotional and discipline factors affect real-money execution in ways that simulated or forward-tested measurement cannot capture.
STRAVEX publishes impersonal analytics of general and regular circulation, not tailored to the circumstances of any individual. Nothing on this platform constitutes an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation of any security, financial instrument, or strategy.
5. Score 360°, Conviction Score and signals
Stravex produces proprietary scores (Score 360°, Conviction Score) and signals (whale alerts, sentiment transitions, divergence flags). These are algorithmic analysis of observable data — institutional flow, skew, term structure and aggregate sentiment.
6. Required reading
Before trading options, read and understand:
- "Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options", published by The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) — available at theocc.com.
- Your broker's risk disclosure document.
- Applicable FINRA regulation (margin requirements, pattern day trader rules, and so on).
7. Personal suitability
Not every strategy is suitable for every investor. Consider:
- Your personal risk tolerance.
- Your financial situation — is this capital you can afford to lose?
- Your level of experience with derivatives.
- Your investment objectives and time horizon.
Consult a licensed financial adviser in your jurisdiction before trading options if you are in any doubt.
8. Personal Discipline Rules — guard rails, not guarantees
The Personal Discipline Rules module lets you define rules (max delta, OBP by sector, ITM concentration) and validates every trade against them. These rules are NOT a guarantee against losses — they are a discipline system that you configure yourself. You can override them with a documented justification, and the system audits those overrides so you can learn from your own deviations.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DYNC Solutions LLC, its officers, employees and suppliers shall not be liable for:
- Direct or indirect losses arising from trading decisions based on the Platform.
- Errors in third-party data — we use institutional-grade providers under commercial license, but we do not guarantee 100% accuracy.
- Downtime or latency causing a missed trading opportunity.
- A User's incorrect interpretation of signals, scores or data presented.
10. Confirmation on using Stravex
